Terms of Use
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ignition-repair.com ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of this website and our mobile ignition repair and car key services (together, the "Services"). By using the website or requesting the Services, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the website or the Services. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
Our Services; Quotes and Estimates
We provide mobile automotive ignition repair, key extraction, key cutting and programming, and related locksmith services. Any price given by phone, text, chat, or through this website is a preliminary estimate based on the information you provide. The final price can only be confirmed after our technician inspects the vehicle in person. If the inspection reveals additional problems, we will tell you the revised price before performing the work, and you may decline the work at that point.
Proof of Ownership and Right to Refuse Service
Because our work involves vehicle keys and ignition systems, we take security seriously. Before performing service, we may require you to present a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of ownership of, or legal authority over, the vehicle (such as registration, title, or insurance card matching your ID). By requesting service, you represent and warrant that you own the vehicle or have the owner's authorization. We may refuse, suspend, or stop any job at our sole discretion if ownership or authority cannot be verified to our satisfaction, or if we believe the request is unlawful. You are solely responsible, and agree to be fully liable, for any false or misleading statement about your ownership of or authority over a vehicle.
No Guarantee of Repair Outcome
We work on vehicles in the field, at your location, and not in a controlled shop environment. Pre-existing damage, prior tampering or repair attempts, corrosion, aftermarket parts, electrical faults, and other conditions outside our control may make a complete repair impossible during an on-site visit, or may only become apparent after work begins. We do not guarantee that any particular repair can be completed on site, within any particular time, or at the estimated price. Where a repair cannot be completed, we will explain the situation and, where possible, offer alternatives. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions of the vehicle or for their consequences.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and the problem
- Provide safe, legal access to the vehicle at the service location
- Be present (or have an authorized adult present) during the service
- Promptly inform the technician of any known damage, prior repair attempts, or modifications
Payment; Cancellations
Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless we agree otherwise in writing. Parts that are special-ordered for your vehicle may be non-refundable. If you cancel after a technician has been dispatched, or the technician arrives and service cannot proceed for reasons within your control (including failure to verify ownership), we may charge a reasonable service-call fee to cover the trip.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and the Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Any warranty on parts is limited to the warranty actually provided by the part's manufacturer. Any warranty on workmanship applies only if stated in writing at the time of service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for towing costs, rental vehicles, lost time, lost profits, or loss of use, even if we were advised such damages were possible; and (b) our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your breach of these Terms; any false or misleading statement you make about vehicle ownership or authority; your misuse of the website or the Services; or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected to any vehicle manufacturer, dealership, or with Google. Vehicle brand names are used only to identify the vehicles we service.

Governing Law; Venue; Class Action Waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services, the website, or these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only; you waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
Time Limit on Claims
To the maximum extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms must be filed within one (1) month after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.
Severability; Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the website and the Services. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page. By continuing to use the website or the Services after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
